A mixed bag of winter precipitation has resulted in slick roads throughout the area during the Monday morning commute, with traffic volume much lighter than normal. An accident involving an overturned vehicle was reported on the New York State Thruway in Ardsley at 8:30 a.m. An accident on northbound I-95 between Chatsworth Avenue and Fenimore Road in Larchmont was reported at 8:40 a.m., resulting in stop-and-go traffic.
