The driver of the tractor trailer that overturned Friday morning, causing hours of gridlock on the Tappan Zee Bridge span, was driving with a suspended license, according to News 12. Dennis McDermott, 61, who was working for a scrap metal and paper recycling center just north of Albany, was issued a ticket for driving with a suspended license, the report said. Qing Chang, 50, of Ardsley, who was on his way to work when the truck overturned around 9 a.m. Friday, recorded a dramatic video of the crash from his dash cam you can view by clicking the play button above.
